{"id":225,"date":"2021-09-23T15:22:47","date_gmt":"2021-09-23T15:22:47","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/itu-app42372.pagelyhosting.com\/?page_id=225"},"modified":"2022-09-13T13:13:47","modified_gmt":"2022-09-13T13:13:47","slug":"safety-and-security","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/itu-app42372.pagelyhosting.com\/en\/safety-and-security\/","title":{"rendered":"Safety and security"},"content":{"rendered":"<div class=\"ituContainer grid\"><div data-span=\"12\">\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Covid-19 and Entry into Romania<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n<div class=\"ituContainer grid\"><div data-span=\"12\">\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Regarding the sanitary situation and entry into Romania, the most up-to-date information can be found on the Host Country website <a href=\"https:\/\/bucharestpp22.gov.ro\/frequently-asked-questions-faq\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">here <\/a>as well as on the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.itu.int\/security\/covid19\" data-type=\"URL\" data-id=\"https:\/\/www.itu.int\/security\/covid19\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Covid-19 free ITU event page<\/a>.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n<div class=\"ituContainer grid\"><div data-span=\"12\">\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Medical issues<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n<ul type=\"disc\">\n<li style=\"mso-list: l0 level1 lfo1;\">For <strong>medical issues at the PP venue<\/strong>, a medical point will be located in C1 and will be operated from <strong>08.00 to 22.00<\/strong> (an ambulance and a medical team will be on site 24\/7).<\/li>\n<li style=\"mso-list: l0 level1 lfo1;\"><!-- \/wp:post-content --><!-- wp:paragraph -->A medical point is also positioned at the Marriott, Athenne Palace Hilton, and Grand Hotel Bucharest.<\/li>\n<li style=\"mso-list: l0 level1 lfo1;\"><!-- \/wp:paragraph --><!-- wp:paragraph --><strong>For medical emergency situations<\/strong>, please use the national number <strong>112<\/strong>, mentioning the status &#8220;<strong>PP22 Participant<\/strong>&#8220;.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><!-- \/wp:paragraph --><\/p>\n<p><!-- wp:paragraph --><\/p>\n<p><strong>Entry into the Conference venue<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><!-- \/wp:paragraph --><\/p>\n<p><!-- wp:paragraph --><\/p>\n<p>Access to the official PP-22 Conference venue, the International Conference Center of the Parliament of Romania (ICC-PR), in Bucharest, will be strictly limited to persons wearing a Conference event badge with photograph.<\/p>\n<p><!-- \/wp:paragraph --><\/p>\n<p><!-- wp:paragraph --><\/p>\n<p>Participants are advised that all delegates, observers, media representatives, ITU and Host Country secretariat staff, and all technical and support staff of the ICC-PR, will only be admitted to the Conference venue upon presentation of this badge. Participants need to also carry a National ID or official travel document with photo, in case the venue security requests to see a secondary piece of ID.<\/p>\n<p><!-- \/wp:paragraph --><\/p>\n<p><!-- wp:paragraph --><\/p>\n<p>All participants will be security screened at dedicated access points to the ICC-PR Conference venue, similar to security controls found at airports. All participants will also have their conference event badge scanned at the security reader systems when entering\/exiting the ICC-PR venue.<\/p>\n<p><!-- \/wp:paragraph --><\/p>\n<p><!-- wp:paragraph --><\/p>\n<p>It is recommended that participants coming to the ICC-PR venue limit their hand luggage to one [1] small briefcase. Anything larger than cabin luggage will not be permitted inside the ICC-PR venue.<\/p>\n<p><!-- \/wp:paragraph --><\/p>\n<p><!-- wp:paragraph --><\/p>\n<p><strong>While in the Conference venue<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><!-- \/wp:paragraph --><\/p>\n<p><!-- wp:paragraph --><\/p>\n<p>Participants are reminded to safeguard their personal belongings at all times while in the ICC-PR venue as well as in their official hotels.<\/p>\n<p><!-- \/wp:paragraph --><\/p>\n<p><!-- wp:paragraph --><\/p>\n<p>All security incidents and lost and found inquiries during the event, can be addressed to the PP-22 Conference Event Safety &amp; Security Team, at the Event Security Office, located in the lobby area next to the C1 access point of the ICC-PR venue.<\/p>\n<p><!-- \/wp:paragraph --><\/p>\n<p><!-- wp:paragraph --><\/p>\n<p>Adhering to UN values of integrity, respect for diversity and professionalism, ITU events and conferences offer a professional and respectful environment, free of discrimination and harassment.
